BHPG has All About LaBelle show

The board members and volunteers of the Barron Park House Gallery (BPHG) are working hard, and currently have a showing titled “All about LaBelle”. A visual arts show of paintings, drawings, sculptures, original prints and photographs that highlight the views of LaBelle and the surrounding areas. This show will be available for viewing through the end of the month.

“Of course we opened the theme a little to fill the gallery, another indication of dwindling numbers but we do have several new faces which is good. We also are including what I hope to be a monthly inclusion of work from LaBelle High School, future artists and leaders of LaBelle,” said Jane Moden, acting secretary for the Arts of the Inland.

The BPHG is also gearing up for its annual spring fundraiser, the “Inspirations Art Show”, which offers cash awards in Painting, Drawing, Sculpture and Photography. The BPHG encourages up to 3 framed entries per artist, for an entry fee of $20/$25. Receiving day will be held on March 3, 2020. Judging will be on the 4th, with an open reception with award presentations on Friday, March 6, 5-7 p.m.

The Gallery is located at 471 E. Lee St. in Labelle. For more information, call 863-843-2929 Thursday through Sunday 12-5 p.m. or email at
