Business Corner: Will Hall’s Construction

William “Earl” Hall was born in Clewiston and raised in LaBelle. He has been working in construction for more than 20 years. Owning and running a small business, like his, has been a challenge during the COVID-19 pandemic, but he has continued to push through the setbacks and is determined to succeed and expand.

“I came from a family of seven. Six boys and one sister, with just my dad to take care of us after my mother left,” says Hall. “I’ve been doing this for twenty eight years, and I try to get the best deal for my customers, and do quality work. I like to help people who are not as fortunate as most, like myself. I grew up poor and know how hard it is out there.”

Will Hall’s Construction specializes in all types of home repair including, carpentry, roofing, and drywall installation. With a small but highly skilled and knowledgeable staff, they try to support local businesses and even hire local whenever possible.

“I just want the company to offer great work and keep a few local boys working steady. Work for me and my guys, paying the bills, and one day a new truck,” says Hall when asked about what he hopes for the future.

For now, Hall has been building wooden picnic tables and doing other small carpentry projects to supplement the loss of income during the crisis. With everyone staying at home, more dining outside has become increasingly popular. His custom built picnic tables have become a hot item.
