Sunday, April 14, 2019, marked the beginning of National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week (NPSTW), a week that gives communities and emergency communications centers a chance to honor those who help save lives in times of personal or national crisis. The week runs through April 20.

If you happened to have ever called for help in Hendry County you probably spoke with one of these girls. If you have a chance, please let them know how much you appreciate them – they are the Calm Voice in the Night.

The Caloosa Belle is published every Thursday.
