LaBelle Youth Rabbit and Cavy show

The LaBelle Youth Livestock Rabbit and Cavy Show sponsored by LaBelle Ranch Supply was held on Monday, February 11th with Mrs. Jaime Dixon of Arcadia, Florida serving as the official judge. Zackary Dalrymple

Kassi Dupree, Beryl Gonzalez, Peal Gonzalez, Morgan Lujan, Shawn Martin, Andres Martinez, Amelia Martinez, Armando Martinez, Alexandro Martinez, Grace Washam, Katherine Washam and Lily Washam were among the exhibitors.

In the Cavy division: Amelia Martinez captured the Grand Champion Award with Lily Washam taking the Reserve Champion Award. Amelia and Lily both showed American cavies.

In the Cavy Showmanship division: Lilly Washam took first place in the junior division. Pearl Gonzalez achieved first place and Kathrine Washam placed second in the Intermediate division.

In the Rabbit division: Pearl Gonzalez was awarded Grand Champion with her Californian doe. Alexandro Martinez captured Reserve Champion with his Mixed buck.

In the Showmanship division: Lily Washam was awarded the first-place junior award with Alexandro Martinez in second place. Morgan Lujan achieved the first-place intermediate award with Pearl Gonzalez taking second.

The Rabbit and Cavy exhibitors were either members of the LaBelle All Kinds of Critters 4-H Club led by Mylissa Dalrymple or the Pioneer Small Animal 4-H Club led by Patricia Bosley. Thank you, club leaders and parents; exhibitors did great exhibiting their animals. The sponsorship given by LaBelle Ranch Supply was greatly appreciated.
