As we celebrated Independence Day this week the theme of freedom is on our minds. We all gave and continue to give gratitude for the men and women who have sacrificed their safety and many times their lives in the service to protect our individual and collective freedoms in this country.
As the celebration of the long weekend dies down and we are now resuming our regularly scheduled programming I wonder what personal freedoms are you exercising? Are you exercising the freedom to pursue happiness in your daily lives?
Is there any area of your life that you are feeling stuck, in a rut, or under the oppression of your own imposed limiting thoughts or fears?
Remember that we all have the God given free will to choose our thoughts. If we are living under a veil of fear or insecurity from the internal dialogue we hold and it’s keeping us from living in the most authentic form of our freedom; the freedom to be our happiest selves then the time has come to claim our independence over those limiting beliefs and choose again, choose the power that we possess to reframe our thoughts and to reach for the highest and happiest thoughts possible.
Our thoughts create our outlook and our life experience so I encourage you to borrow from the theme of our national holiday this week and choose to be independent of your fears. Choose to revolt from the beliefs that keep you a prisoner in your own unhappiness and break free from any limiting thoughts that don’t serve you to be your happiest self.
This week I urge you to look at your life and ask yourself “What personal freedoms am I exercising in my daily life?”
