Transition can be unpredictable sometimes. If you find yourself in a space of transitioning from one job to another, or from relationship to single (or vice-versa), or making a physical move, the emotions that come along would be emotions of excitement, anticipation, or adventure. Conversely, the emotions that come up for you could be scary as you experience fear of the unknown or feeling uneasy about stepping outside of your comfort zone. New situations, while they can hold opportunities for growth and expansion, can also create feelings of resistance as we navigate the emotional currents produced in the process of journeying through life.
Here are some things you can do to be pro-active about maintaining the higher vibration thoughts and emotions as you live in the space of transition, however that may look for you in your current circumstance.
First, I like to begin my day with meditation. I always feel more centered, grounded, and tuned into my core beliefs and values when I take the time to quiet my mind and look beyond the inconsistency of emotions that can be triggered by whatever outside circumstance comes along.
After I’ve taken the time to get centered, I like to take out my journal and make a list of the positive outcomes that I am opening up to be a part of my life experience by taking a step out of my comfort zone.
Third, I set a strong intention for everything to flow with ease and grace as I move from one space to the next in my transitional phase.
