Eli Mosley is from Lakeland, Florida. He is a twenty seven year old country singer who has been singing full time for the past four years. Eli remembers wanting to be a country singer since he was a small boy. “I had gone to see Tracy Byrd perform at the Strawberry Festival in Plant City when I was kid,” says Eli.
“I remember seeing him up on stage when I was six years old and feeling inspired. I said ‘Oh yeah! I’m going to do that!,” he adds, “And the rest is history.”
Upon graduating from high school in 2009 Eli went into the United States Marine Corps Reserves for six years while simultaneously attending college. He graduated from Southeastern University in 2015 with a BA in Music Business. He also studied at the Contemporary Music Center in Brentwood, Tennessee.
“I got some on the job training, so to speak. I studied song writing and recording, and released my first album shortly after returning from the Contemporary Music Center,” he recounts. That recording titled “Eli” was released in 2015. Last year Eli released a seven song EP entitled “Come Along With Me” and he is currently in the process of recording his third album.
Eli has kept his base camp in Lakeland, while he works the festival circuit. He played the Sugar Festival in Clewiston which led him to discover the Swamp Cabbage Festival.
