LaBelle Little League Junior All-Star baseball team District Champions

The LaBelle Little League Junior All-Star baseball team brought home the District 18 Little League All-Star Championship on June 24. These young men fought through rain and sweltering heat to defeat San Carlos in two games. Game one was won by a score of 9-6 behind the pitching of Lawson Davidson, Johnathan Villa, and Trevor Vahle.

The offense hit the ball well throughout the line-up with all players reaching base at least once. Game two was won by a score of 7-8, with a walk-off hit by Colton Bass in the bottom of the 7th to score Justin Sherrod. All of the boys played with heart and left it all on the field!

The team is now headed to Sectional Play-off in Lehigh Acres on July 14, playing at 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. Come out and support these young men, as they have worked hard!
